SYSTEM ENGINEER / IT SUPPORT (2 posts) – Japanese listed electrical & electronic mfg (TST East / 5 days work)

THE COMPANY :

• Japanese listed company of over 130 years history
• Electrical and electronic manufacturer including but not limited to electrical equipment, optical fiber & cable, connector, electronic wire and sensor etc
• Hong Kong office : sales & technical support office of 30 staff
• Asian offices : Shanghai, Shenzhen, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand & Indonesia etc
• We are looking for  SYSTEM ENGINEER  - with details as follows :

THE JOB :

• Being the only one IT staff in HK office; and co-work with IT teams in Japanese Headquarters & Singapore office
• Monitoring and controlling information systems in order to obtain a stable and efficient working environment.
• Ensure that Hong Kong office, Shanghai office, Taiwan branch and Shenzhen office are complying various requirements under J-Sox.
• Participating in development of new systems modules to satisfy new business issues for regional offices.
• Monitoring and fixing errors from the systems with computer programs in order to maintain the financial reports accuracy.
• Maintain data security and stability of all servers, internet connection, intra-net connection
• Liaise with Japan HQ & Asian offices staff in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Taiwan for IT issues.
• Review regularly the appropriateness of IT hardware & software
• Maintain an update efficient / effective IT working environment
• In charge of Internal Control – ITGC issues in offices of Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Taiwan offices.
• Cooperate with Japan HQ and Asian office staff on any regular / ad-hoc IT issues
• Liaise with Assistant Administration Manager to support the in-office telephone-system and out-office mobile IT devices operations
• High-Diploma in IT related
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in information technology issues
• Problem-solving capability, especially under pressure
• 5 days work
• Annual leave : 10 days
