System Engineer / Manager - Maintenance Support

Job Description:
- Implementation of internal and/or clients’ servers, server software and network equipment, including VMware virtualization solutions;
- Setup, installation, configuration, testing, trouble-shooting and fine-tuning of the related components;
- Implementation of system management / monitoring configuration and procedures including backup / restore components;
- Knowledge on Oracle RAC and Database, WebLogic , Solaris
- Set up compilation of reports and updates of manuals and related documentation;
- Preparation of related specifications;
- Preparing and conducting system tests and user acceptance; and
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- University graduate in IT or related disciplines is preferred
- At least 4 years experience in installation, configuration and support of Solaris, Linux and/or Windows servers
- Customer-oriented and strong interpersonal skills
- Mature, aggressive, flexible, energetic, self-motivated and able to take up challenges and pressure
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese is required
- Candidate with Project management experience will be considered as Maintenance Support Manager
