Role Purpose:

As System Analyst, you will be working closely with the Business Units to deliver and support application systems that meet with the business expectations and technology blueprint.
The role should oversee and ensure: 

  • System specifications correctly reflect business requirements and delivers business benefits
  • System development is completed and migrated into production within the user expected time frame
  • Systems developed have good performance and fulfill user requirements
  • System issues are handled within SLA
  • System integrity is maintained

A typical day in this Role:

  • Analyze issues in IT systems and provide timely solution
  • Gather and analyze new user requirements
  • Produce functional specification and technical documentation
  • Build and test the IT systems
  • Support production migration, operation and problem resolution
  • Work closely with internal Business and IT stakeholders and with external IT vendors to ensure the work above are properly delivered
  • Provide timely status reporting and risk assessment to IT management
  • Production system support may be required during non-office hours

What we look for:

  • University graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years of experience in system development, production system support, and issue management
  • Understanding of system development life-cycle and methodology and production support process
  • Good analysis, problem solving, and technical writing skills
  • Work experience supporting back-office business functions including HR and Finance is an advantage
  • System development and support experience of large scale ERP, preferably with Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Fusion Cloud, and system integration technologies, preferably with Oracle Service Bus or Oracle Integration Cloud
  • Other technical experience using Oracle APEX, Java, Web Services, database administration and performance tuning is an advantage
  • Good communication and coordination skills and team working spirit
  • Agility and willing to learn
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Analyst Programmer
