We are now inviting application(s) for the following post in the Educational Technology & Publishing Unit:
The appointee will participate in several system development projects, including a new web application Nursing e-Portfolio Administration System. The system will serve the purposes of student administration, clinical placement plan, study plan, etc. The appointee will be responsible for:
a.) designing, developing, testing and deploying the new systems;
b.) administering, maintaining and enhancing existing systems;
c.) providing technical support to end users; and
d.) undertaking other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Educational Technology and Publishing Unit and his/her nominees.
Applicants are required to possess the following:
a.) a recognized bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline;
b.) at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience in programming and web-application design;
c.) basic concept of heuristics and metaheuristics (e.g., Local Search, Tabu Search, Simulated Annealing, etc.);
d.) solid experience in web application development with JSP/Servlet and EJB;
f.) hands-on experience in front-end library like JQuery and Bootstrap; and
g.) a good command of English.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a trade test.
Pay & Benefits Package
