Our client is an international consultancy firms. Currently they are looking for Project Director in Hong Kong / Shanghai who has at least 10 years of equivalent experience in testing and commissioning process, and will manage the compilation of technical documentation and the planning.

- Act as a leader to manage the Shanghai team and control the execution of multi-disciplinary projects from inception to handover with high quality, within schedule and budget
- Liaise with clients, government authorities, project stakeholders and end-users
- Lead and drive the technical teams both in HK and China
- Responsible for business development with HK and Shanghai team
- Manage the compilation of technical reports and submission of status report, including progress update
- Commission appraisal of design or shop drawing, specification and document
- Handle reviews and discussion with contractors and manufacturers response method statements
- Review and comment on contractor's completed commissioning records
- Present audit results to site management highlighting decision making processes and conclusions
- Witness contractor's testing and commissioning results and confirm compliance
- Manage design consultants and contractors for project success
- Competency in aspects of management service
- Strong in Project Execution, Project Control, Programme & Scheduling
- With practical experience in Design Management, Contract Administration, Cost Management
- Good in Risk Management, Value Management, Stakeholders Management, Procurement Strategy, and Construction Advisor
- Act as Client’s Representative as necessary
- Willing to frequently travel or station in Shanghai
Qualifications and Experiences required:
- At least 8 years of post chartered experience for the position of Senior Project Manager
- Conversant with local government regulations and health & safety for building projects
- Creative, self-motivated with good management and effective communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Ability to speak Mandarin is an advance
