Team Head / Senior Vice President, Credit Approval

Responsibilities :

  • Review and examine credit proposals for corporate lending, trade finance, structured finance, non-bank FI, perform credit analysis and provide recommendation
  • Review and evaluate corporate bond investment proposal
  • Prepare regulatory and internal reports
  • Assist department head to develop, review and improve processes in credit administration areas to ensure accuracy and efficiency in works
  • Assist department head to review and enhance the robustness and effectiveness of control measures to mitigate credit risk as well as operation risks proactively identify potential risks areas and propose measures for remediation
  • Assist department head to formulate credit policy, build up credit culture, team building, training and other matters assigned by department head


  • Degree or above, major in Economics / Finance /Accounting or related disciplines

  • At least 8 years experience in credit administration
  • Strong experience on local business, strong understanding on regulatory requirements
  • Able to handle complicated credit proposals, i.e. cross border syndication loan, building loan
  • sound knowledge on internal rating system and well use of risk assessment tools, i.e. cashflow projection
  • Familiar with loan market practice
  • Strong risk awareness and detail oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skill
  • Excellent on written and speaking in English and Mandarin
  • Experience in trade operations/ treasury operations / account services an advantage.
  • Able to make use of software for general OA purpose
  • Able to wokr under pressure and meet tight deadline
