Job Description:

  • Design, planning, document, implement Oracle database across production, DR and test environments;
  • Database administration, monitoring and improve database performance and capacity;
  • Assist the application development & maintenance team in design, testing, troubleshooting and address database performance issues;
  • Build database scheme, tables, procedures and permissions;
  • Create shell scripts for task automation;
  • Analyze, consolidate, capacity and performance tuning database for optimal performance;
  • Deploy and oversee backup, restore, clustering, mirroring, replication and failover processes;
  • Develop and implement the recovery procedure for all databases.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline;
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle database administration;
  • Proficient in physical database design;
  • Sound experience in database problem determination and solving;
  • Batch customization and scripting;
  • OCA/OCP Administrator certification is an advantage;
  • Good analytical and creative mind, and be able to work under pressure;
  • Fresh Graduate will also be considered.
