Technical Support Engineer (Enterprise Application solutions)

Our client is a leading telecommunications service provider in Hong Kong.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for handling internal and external technical support requests for numerous Enterprise Application Solutions
  • Provide tier 2 support to internal & external customers via phone & email
  • Participate in new product and solution evaluation
  • Setup, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Linux servers and systems
  • Provide consulting services and support for release package testing, installation and deployment of system software


  • Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • 2 years’ or above experience in Linux/Windows 
  • Highly versed in Linux administration and its best practices
  • Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages
  • Experience supporting large web applications environment
  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Apache, MySQL etc.
  • Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, etc.
  • Proficient with network tools such as iptables, Linux IPVS, HAProxy, etc.
  • Ability to build and monitor services on production servers
  • General understanding of TCP/IP and related protocols (HTTP, FTP, NFS, etc…)
