Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Handle phone-in and email support enquiries in using our services
  • Support all software and hardware; maintain internal network and server administration 
  • Troubleshooting for various technical issues
  • Manage server deployment and migration projects for customers
  • To coordinate with vendors, internal / external parties and service partners for service restoration
  • Perform routine tasks according to the jobs processing schedule, procedures, workflow
  • Ad-hoc technical support during non-office hours is required
  • Shift duty is required

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or degree in Computing / Information Technology or equivalent
  • At least 4 years’ experience in managing Windows Server 2008 / 2012, Linux, VM platforms
  • Hands-on experience on Web Server, FTP Server, DNS, Email Server, Exchange Server, TCP/IP, control panels and various Industrial network equipment; such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortigate, etc
  • Customer service or help desk experience in call centre is an advantage
  • Certificated holders of MCP / MCSE / CCNA / CCNP is an advantage
  • Experiences in hosting company is a plus
  • Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua
  • Good troubleshooting skill and ability to quickly learn and work with new system and infrastructure
  • Immediate availability is preferred
