Technical Support Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Report to Service Manager
  • Provide customer support, troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for projects, either on-site or off-site
  • Address urgent issues quickly and escalate issues according to the support SLA
  • Provide written report on product variances, end-user feature improvements and operation feature improvements to Sales and Development team
  • Act as customer advocate to make sure the customers’ voices are always heard in order to fulfill service support commitment
  • Work effectively Sales team and Service team to provide professional service to customers & business partners during installation or deployment stage as required

Job Requirements:

  • Hands-on knowledge and competencies with Windows, networking infrastructure and Android systems
  • Past working experience in barcode and RFID product is an advantage
  • Fast learner during on-job training and a team-work player
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and able to investigate and solve deployment problems quickly
  • Knowledge of OSI model fundamentals including TCP/IP networking and server administration
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Support Engineer
