Technical Support Officer (Contract, work in Govt Office)

  • To assist in the overall planning, implementation and evaluation of risk communication activities and other health promotion programmes
  • To liaise, establish and reinforce working partnerships with stakeholders including non-government organisations, tertiary institutions and others
  • To ensure effective and efficient cooperation in developing, implementing and timely delivery of quality works for the Activities;
  • To be responsible for assisting in development, operating and maintaining relevant websites and other social medial means for effective dissemination of information;
  • To be responsible for assisting in artwork design required for production of publicity materials for the Activities;
  • To assist in the distribution of health promotion and publicity materials;
  • To assist in compiling regular and ad hoc reports for documentation of progress, impact and effectiveness of the Activities; and
  • To perform ad hoc projects and assignments as required by the department representative(s)



  • Completed tertiary education / obtain diploma or higher certificate, preferably in the field of design or related disciplines;
  • At least two-year post-qualification experience, preferably in artwork design, and development, operation and maintenance of websites;
  • Have proficient computer skills (development, operation and maintenance of websites, operation with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Be proficient in design applications including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign;
  • Have solid experience in handling multidisciplinary design work including
  • Print, Exhibition, Digital Media, Branding & Identity;
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese; and
  • Be a good team player possessing good communication and interpersonal skills.
