The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) offers over 20 innovative degree programmes that are vocationally oriented and developed with significant industry input. All the programmes are accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, and most are also accredited by the relevant professional bodies. In 2018/19, twelve programmes are in the Government’s Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP), which provides subsidies to students varying from $41,000 to $71,700 per year. (a) To co-ordinate with the contractors for renovation and maintenance works;
(b) To support the operation of Building Management System (BMS);
(c) To inspect and monitor the rectification of defects of construction works;
(d) To assist in preparation of works orders and tender document including sketches; and
(e) To carry out any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
(a) A recognized diploma or higher certificate including Facilities Management, Building Studies, Building Services Engineering, Property Management, Administration or equivalent;
(b) At least 2 years’ relevant work experience preferably with experience in facilities management in education institutions;
(c) Experience in handling Building Management System (BMS) will be an advantage;
(d) Knowledge in drawing preparation, design presentation will be an advantage;
(e) Ability to work independently and be a good team player; and
(f) Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Chinese.
(1) Candidates may be appointed on part-time or temporary terms of appointment.
(2) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(3) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
