Located in Quarry Bay, ESF Centre is responsible for the administration of all schools within the English Schools Foundation.

The English Schools Foundation was established by the Hong Kong Government in 1967. ESF currently operates five secondary schools, nine primary schools and a school for students with special educational needs across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories. Two all-through Private Independent Schools and five kindergartens are operated by ESF’s affiliated company, ESF Educational Services Limited (ESL), which also offers English language classes and sports activities.

ESF owns and operates a residential property portfolio across Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories. To better manage this important asset, ESF seeks to appoint an experienced professional to the role of Technician.

Reporting directly to the Foreman, this role is critical to ensure that the delivery of repairs and maintenance works are undertaken in a professional and to a good standard of workmanship. In addition, the Technician will assist the Foreman and make any recommendations to improve service delivery.

  • To perform inspections, repair and maintenance work to keep the building in good repair.
  • To carryout regular and ad-hoc inspection to M&E system, building fabric and plant rooms.
  • To carryout daily repairing and maintenance work according to work orders and instructions.
  • To carryout alteration or improvement work according to instructions.
  • To attend emergency repairing work and typhoon duty.
  • To attend / monitor contractor’s work assigned by senior.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide customer interface for facilities & technical problem issues.
  • 確保客戶滿意和提供客戶於設施及技術上的問題平台。
  • 為機電系統及機房進行定期及個別檢察
  • 根據工程單及工作指示進行日常維修工作根
  • 據主管指示進行改裝及改善工程工作
  • 需於惡劣天氣下候命緊急維修工作
  • 技術員需具備一般大廈維修知識經驗,如有樓宇裝修,鐵器,木器和渠務等經驗更佳。
  • 由主管分派及指示參與及監督工程承判商之工作


  • Minimum 2 – 5+ years working experience in repairing and maintaining properties in the field of Facilities/Asset Management or Property Maintenance related field
  • Proficiency in spoken Chinese and preferably written Chinese. Spoken English is a benefit.
  • This post will be based in the ESF site office located in North Point with working locations as required in Kowloon, Mid-Levels, New Territories and Sai Kung as required.
