About Role
Morgan Stanley is looking for a Business Analyst / Project Manager to join the HR Technology team in Asia. The role will work with Human Resources, various other business and technology units, vendors and consultants as a Project Manager/Business Analyst to plan, lead analysis, and execute projects. The role also needs to get involved in technical and development work so candidate with technical background is wanted.Specific duties include but not limited to: - Work with HR and Payroll of various countries to gather requirements on new systems and enhancement of existing systems- Manage vendors and consultants to deliver applications and bug fixes- Oversee quality control of work from the vendors and/or consultants- Develop and support of HR applications- Understand vendor onboarding and new application onboarding processes of Morgan Stanley, and help Asia HR to onboard vendors and applications.- Produce documentation such as business requirements, functional specifications, QA test plan/test cases, UAT test plan/test cases, user manual, support knowledge-base, etc.- Ensure that all work is in compliance with firm technology risk and development standards, processes and policies

Required: - 5+ years relevant experience- Proven ability to assimilate rapidly into a complex, dynamic environment and quickly become independently productive with minimum supervision- Technical/Development background in web based enterprise applications- Problem solving, risk assessment and lateral thinking ability - Excellent written and oral communication skills- Accurate, tenacious and delivery-focused with an eye for detail- Good understanding of all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle Desired: - Experience of performing a Business Analyst/Project Management/PMO role in a multi-workstream, multi-location technology environment- Experience in vendor management- Recent experience in C# ASP.NET, Sybase/MSSQL Server, Linux/UNIX, Python
