Term Executive Assistant II

The Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge

Major Duties:

(a) To provide support in one or more of the following areas:
(i) general and Programme administration;
(ii) student affairs and student admissions;
(iii) promotion and publicity work; and
(iv) secretarial and administrative support for senior level staff;
(b) To provide counter services and handle enquiries;
(c) To assist in providing secretarial support for meetings of operational units; and
(d) To draft simple correspondence.


(i) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) at Grade E / Level 2 or above, including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent; OR
(ii) mA combination of results in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination at Level 2 or above in New Senior Secondary subjects / “Attained" or above in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; and the 5 subjects should include English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics; OR
(iii) A recognized Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate, or Project Yi Jin;
  • Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification.


(b) Proficiency in computer software application, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing;

(c) Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills;

(d) Ability to work independently and be a good team player;

(e) Good work initiative and be customer-orientated; and

(f) Experience in providing customer service to adult learners would be added advantages.



(1) Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend a Computer Skills Test including MS Word, MS Excel and Chinese word processing [Cangjie (倉頡) or Quick (速成)].

(2) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours or work irregular hours or on shifts.

(3) The typical working hours on shift are as follows:


Mondays to Fridays:

(i) 8:45 a.m. – 5:33 p.m.

(ii) 11:12 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., OR

(iii) 1:12 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.


8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
