Trade Marketing Manager, APAC

An exciting opportunity to work for a luxury italian brand, manufacturer and product designer as Trade Marketing Manager, APAC based in the Hong Kong regional office. Reporting to the Consumer Sales Director and leading a visual merchandising team, this role will mainly support the retail and wholesale business with effective marketing and promotional strategies. As the business is growing rapidly in APAC, this role will work closely with HQ in Milan, regional office and retail/distributors to develop and execute trade marketing strategies to support sales in the region.

  • Work closely with Product Marketing and Marketing Communication team to design product launch campaign (window display, promotional area, POP, leaflets) and adapt global best-practices liaising with headquarter TM team
  • Work on visual merchandising to offer best solutions to install at the store level. Manage windows display, promotional areas, POP, leaflets, consolidation of forecast and local production of display props and materials.
  • Analyze sales data (sell-in and sell-out) to provide assortment recommendation to distributors
  • Guide new projects (store/shop-in-shop/pop-up) in design, space allocation, product assortment, VM and instore communication and monitor results
  • Work with retail/wholesale team for promotional calendar and execution
  • Manage trade show or event with distributors
  • Communicate with landlord/key retailers for marketing campaign and promotion
  • CAPEX and OPEX— manages the trade spend and allocates the budget across APAC region
  • Conduct market study and research
  • Manage a team of VM specialists
  • University graduate in Marketing, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • 4 – 6 years of experience in trade marketing from FMCG/Consumer Electronics/Fashion/Accessories and managing a small team
  • Experience in direct retail as well as wholesale business
  • Number driven mindset and analytical with strong Excel skill
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill
  • Good command of English language is mandatory, knowledge of Mandarin or any other Asian language is a plus
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with computer skills in MS Windows, Office, Outlook, ERP or SAP
  • Willing to travel
  • Short notice period or immediate available definitely an advantage
