Trading Assistant, Asset Management

A global asset management firm focusing on Discretionary Long/Short, Macro, and Systematic strategies is looking for a talented individual to join their team as Trading Assistant.

The Trading Assistant will be part of a world-class investment management organization that operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, rewards talent with recognition, and a team which has developed a solid track-record within the industry

Responsibilities :

  • Committing your daily efforts to the highest levels of professionalism, integrity and excellence
  • Conducting industry and company-specific research
  • Ensuring the accuracy and quality of all deliverables
  • Summarizing the Intra & End of Day Trade Recaps and Trade Bookings
  • Monitoring/compile market updates, news & headline summaries to traders/PM's/Analysts
  • Providing trade support and consolidating flows from Brokers and distribute to Traders/PM's/Analysts
  • Providing administrative support for the Trading Desk

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree holder, with strong academic background in Finance, Corporate Finance, Strategy, Capital Markets and Banking
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to learn
  • Can manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess a strong attention to detail
  • Have a strong analytical, writing, verbal communication and technical skills
  • Have demonstrated previous academic success as reflected in a minimum GPA of 3.4/4.0
  • Is knowledgeable in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, Programming/VBA, etc.
  • Fluent in English is a must.
