UI/Web Designer
Summary
The successful candidate will be part of the UI/UX team and participate in a Digital Transformation Project in Hong Kong – Responsible for collecting, researching and evaluating user requirements, designing graphic elements, and to deliver an outstanding user experience.
Job Duties
He / She will be responsible for creating the UI and optimal experience for users in different media and platforms performing detailed requirements analysis and documenting processes with the following scope of duties:
- Collaborate with product management and development team to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
- Create personas through user research and data
- Understand product specifications and user psychology
- Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success
- Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
- Communicate design ideas and prototypes to the team and developers
- Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs
- Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
- Able to manage project(s) from beginning to end and meet deadlines
The Person
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a UI/UX designer with strong digital platform knowledge
- Ability to work independently but also a great team player
- Effective verbal and written communication in English and Chinese
- Proven experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer or similar role
- Knowledge on coding and grid system, e.g. html, CSS, react-native, bootstrap
- Strong portfolio of design projects
- Proficient in UI/UX design software (e.g. Figma, Invision, Marvel, Adobe XD ,Photoshop, Illustrator, MS office)
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Experienced with Agile / iterative project management methodologies- Analytical mind with a business acumen
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Junior UI/Web designer
