Unit Head of Credit Analysis

  • Review and comment on credit applications, including but not limited to accounts with larger exposures and of complexity to ensure a high credit quality standard of the bank’s loan portfolio
  • Liaise with marketing units for information as may be required for Credit’s review and appropriate lending authority’s consideration purposes
  • Ensure the lending terms and conditions of the credit applications are complied with the bank’s policies and highlight any deviations or non-compliance for the consideration of higher lending authority
  • Perform the supervisory functions over the credit analysis unit, and provide staff planning, development and on-the-job training to staff
  • Regularly review on the procedure and turnaround time of credit proposals submitted to Credit Department to enhance the efficiency of workflow
  • Degree holder with minimum 8 years’ experience in credit assessment, financial analysis or risk management functions in financial institutions of which at least 4 years at managerial level
  • Conversant with financial analysis, bank lending and bills operations
  • Excellent communication skills with good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • With Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) qualification is preferable
