[URGENT] HR Officer (6 month renewable contract, up to 30k, global bank)

Our client, a renowned, global bank is looking for an energetic HR Administrator to join their team for 6 months.


Min 3 year exp in HR Administration in banking industry
Korean and or Mandarin language proficiency will be a plus
Solid understanding of the Employment Ordinance

 

Responsibilities:

  • Performs a full range of HR administrative support to the regional APAC team covering Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia initially, and other locations
  • Supports the onboarding of new hires by administering background checks, generating written employment contracts, processing relevant paperwork and coordinating start date
  • Administers HR related processes and programs including but not limited to recruiting administration, benefits enrolment, compensation & benefits support, payment administration and ad hoc reporting
  • Coordinates with the regional HR Advisory team and Communities of Expertise (CoE) in delivering HR services to the employees and managers
  • Supports other HR calendar driven events and HR projects

 

Requirements:

  • 3 years or above of HR Administration and Operations experience preferred in the multinational corporations
  • Bachelor's degree holder or the equivalent
  • Good understanding of Employment Ordinance & other relevant employment legislation
  • Good command of written and spoken English, preferably with working level of Mandarin and/or Korean language skills
  • A good team player with excellent communication and problem solving skills, able to interact at all levels with diplomacy and professionalism
  • Detailed orientated, be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft
  • Positive working attitude, you will be keen to take on new tasks, work in a timely manner  and be a solution person
  • Immediately available
