Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure trustee’s functions and obligations under constitutive documents of schemes/funds (e.g. trust deed, prospectus, service agreement) are properly carried out and discharged, including
    • Working with legal and compliance team to review appropriate legal documentation to answer clients’ enquiries on trustee and fiduciary matters
    • Performing due diligence and monitoring service quality/standard of investment managers and custodians of schemes/funds as well as governance on MPF scheme sponsors
    • Designing, enhancing and implementing internal control procedures (e.g. as regards monitoring of investment restrictions) on scheme/fund administration for MPF, ORSO and other investment funds (unit trusts and mutual funds), in compliance with applicable rules and regulation
    • Validate and approve redemption/benefits payments to investors (and fee payments) in accordance with scheme/fund documents/service agreements
  • Identify and revolve business development issues in asset servicing (in particular those relating to trustee and fiduciary services for pension and funds)
  • Manage the relationship with the relevant trustee contact(s) and attend/participate in sales presentation, client meetings and/or RFP process, as appropriate.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and investment product development.
  • Provide inputs and liaise with internal/external parties (including operation, legal and compliance, and risk departments) on process and product design changes.
  • Coordinate and prepare responses to consultations on regulatory changes in the trustee industry, working with scheme sponsors, business, operations, legal and compliance


  • Degree holder or above
  • Minimum 10 years’ work experience on trustee/ fiduciary/ compliance in pension and funds, with more than 5 years at managerial grade
  • Good knowledge of HK pension products (MPF and ORSO) as well as SFC authorised funds, including relevant regulatory requirements
  • Able to work independently within a small team and under tight deadlines
  • Team player and excellent project management, leadership and communication skills
