  • Lead the Credit Review & Policy Department to formulate and conduct periodic benchmarking and alignment of credit risk policies & procedures, product due diligence, and systems to ensure compliance with the Bank's policy and regulatory requirements
  • Perform credit risk monitoring and review in an effective and efficient manner
  • Participate in reviews conducted by the internal auditors / external auditors / regulatory bodies (eg HKMA) on related issues
  • Provide regular updates on credit risk exposures with the prime objectives of internal and regulatory guidelines compliance
  • Collaborate with internal units within Credit Review & Policy Department to formulate continuous improvement in daily operations.
  • Handle ad-hoc credit tasks as assigned


  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management or related disciplines
  • Holder of ECF-CRM an advantage
  • Minimum 10 years of solid experience in credit related policy and guideline, commercial credit and risk management and monitoring functions in banking industry
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements and banking practices on credit risk management
  • Sound knowledge in lending products, as well as banking operations and services
  • Keep abreast of latest market conditions, risk practices and regulatory requirements, and has the ability to spearhead the relevant implementation
  • Self-motivated and detail-minded with strong risk control sense and people management skills
  • Good multi-tasking skills and ability to work independent and under pressure
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills and a readiness to challenge assumptions
