Vice President / Assistant Vice President, Trade Product Sales, Corporate Banking Division

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote trade finance products to corporate clients
• Enhance the competitiveness and profitability of the bank trade products;
• Explore differentiated trade solutions to the bank trade clients and support trade finance business growth;
• Follow the Bank New Product Approval Policy to drive a brand-new and modified product development.
• Review and update operation manuals to fulfil bank requirements
• Work with internal stakeholders on the trade product relevant projects and issues with an aim to translate the clients’ needs into the bank trade business and revenue growth.
• Conduct trade finance relevant online and/or face-to-face training.
• Handle ad-hoc projects and jobs assigned by the supervisors

Requirements

• University graduate in Finance, Accounting and Business Administration or related disciplines;
• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in banking industry (incumbent with less experience will be considered for the AVP position)
• Sound knowledge of trade products and trade services.
• Familiar with ICC rules and trade finance IBOR Reform
• Know-how on Combating Trade Based Money Laundering
• Good knowledge on CDCS/CITF/CSDG will be an advantage
• Strong analytical skill with a strategic mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
• Self-motivated with Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing
