Working Location: Ngau Tau Kok

Reporting to Senior Vice President & Managing Director Hong Kong & Macau, and being a member of the local senior management team, the role is responsible for the development and execution of country and global/regional sales & marketing strategies, driving the acquisition and retention of customers across all of DHL's sales channels to achieve year-on-year revenue growth for the business. In addition, as a division head, s/he will motivate and permeate the culture necessary for DHL to be the Employer of Choice.Being the lead of the Commercial Division of DHL Express Hong Kong & Macau, two of the key areas in Asia Pacific (excl China) (‘APEC’), Vice President Commercial is responsible for leading and managing the Commercial Group covering different sales channels.


  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, MBA will be an advantage
  • At least 15 years' relevant working experience with 5 years in senior managerial role, preferably in airline, logistics or transportation industry or multinational companies
  • A seasoned professional with strong customer and business orientation with good business acumen
  • Strong leadership competency with Respect and Results focused attributes, and with proven experience in employee engagement of all levels
  • Capable to shape direction and navigate the team to achieve functional and company goals, and be able to take a holistic view and manage stakeholders within or outside the network for the better interests of the Company
  • A proven change agent, with sound experience in initiating and implementing changes to drive for high performance and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills with high capability to communicate with top management at both country, regional & global level
  • Well-versed in written & spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)



  • Formulate integrated sales and marketing strategies to meet business goals
  • Lead the development of the country's growth plans to maximize both new customer acquisition, and the retention of existing customers to achieve the country's sales target
  • Lead, guide, evaluate and develop a team of senior managers to ensure that country can achieve its business objectives and comply with all relevant regulations and laws
  • Shape the sales channels to identify and capture sales opportunities required to achieve market share growth
  • Lead the Sales Planning & Development, Marketing and Pricing teams to provide the harmonized experience expected by our customers
  • Provide effective consultancy and coaching to the sales force to analyze, plan, and implement necessary sales plans and resources to achieve revenue requirements
  • Develop partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to drive business development and enhancement in customer touch points and ensure DHL provides market-leading services
  • Represent DHL Express Hong Kong & Macau in promoting DHL being the Provider of Choice for customers
  • Maintain senior level relationships with industry groups and associations and strategic accounts
  • Where necessary, undertake responsibility to support the sales force to resolve customer issues
