Job Descriptions:

  • Actively involved in ECM transactions on a lead and/or syndicate role basis
  • Originate, structure and execute ECM transactions included but not limited to share placements, rights issues and equity-link products
  • Prepare origination materials involving relevant structural and financial analysis
  • Ensure that the necessary documentation and processes are in place for the Chinese Walls among different departments (such as corporate finance, sales and/or research) during mandated transaction
  • Assist the team to review existing policies and procedures to ensure all internal procedures are aligned with regulations of the SFC and the HKEX


  • University Degree or above in Economy and Finance or related disciplines
  • SFC Type 1 license holder, preferably a RO
  • Over 5 years’ solid experience in Equity Capital Markets in an Investment Bank or sizeable financial institutions or a proven track record
  • Solid knowledge of the capital markets in Hong Kong & China, as well as the relevant rules and regulations
  • Strong technical background and good understanding of equity capital markets
  • Possess problem solving and research skills in order to lead in the negotiating and reviewing of equity transactions
  • Good network with funds, institutional and other investors
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua is a must)
