Position Summary:

To develop and deliver revenue plans, sales targets and sales strategies to meet FedEx Trade Networks Group of Companies regional objectives. To create a culture of success and goal achievement that promotes sales growth and customer satisfaction. To plan, organize, direct and control the development and operation of the regional sales organization. To ensure rapid phase-in of FedEx Trade Networks Group of Companies strategic and tactical plans and to ensure product/service programs are aggressively implemented to achieve revenue goals. Plans and develops regional revenue objectives and priorities. Develops strategic and tactical plans as well as associated policies and procedures. Responsible for product/service opportunities, identification and competitive market penetration consistent with FedEx Trade Networks Group of Companies growth. Collaborates in the development and support of objectives across business units to achieve objectives.


  • Manages a team of managing directors, senior managers, managers or combination, and the gross revenue, net revenue, profit and volume growth goals set forth in the business plan.
  • Directs and evaluates activities in relation to corporate revenue goals and margin improvement activities.
  • Collaborates in the development and support of cross OpCo objectives to leverage systems and expertise, and to incorporate FedEx Trade Networks Group of Companies requirements.
  • Facilitates FedEx Trade Networks Group of Companies business development, deployment strategy and execution.
  • Manages customer expectations and contributes to a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Recruits, directs, motivates, controls and develops staff to achieve FedEx Trade Networks
  • Group of Companies revenue objectives.
  • Responsible for the administration of all variable compensation plans that support revenue growth.
  • Works closely with FedEx leadership to align business development solutions with customer needs.
  • Collaborates with marketing to develop and execute business development and marketing strategy for region, country, lane segment or market.
  • Frequent travel is required.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (MBA preferred).
  • Significant experience in international freight forwarding, supply chain, and critical inventory logistics sales and business development.
  • Demonstrated success at closing large international accounts.
  • Knowledge of worldwide trade relationships, trade agreements and the effects of related change on world economics.
  • Experience in strategic planning processes, business transformation, or large scale technology implementation.
  • Track record of establishing or evolving technical, analytical or operations capabilities.
  • Success in defining customer support and setting direction of the sales organization.
  • Ability to identify, develop and evaluate management talent.
