Vice President, Trade Product Sales Specialist, Global Transaction Services, Hong Kong

Job Description Responsibilities

  • Product Sales and Strategy
    • Develop, own and maintain the product sales strategy for an assigned client portfolio to achieve trade revenue target in Hong Kong, focusing on Large Corporate and suppliers segments
    • Drive the targets and action plans for achieving product revenue, portfolio size, risk and return targets
  • Product Management
    • Ensure the product offerings are in line with our risk governance framework
    • Lead business and product solutioning efforts, by continually aligning our trade strategy and platforms to help achieve business growth targets in Hong Kong
    • Create and drive product ideas specific to management of suppliers out of our SCF/LC/OA programs in Hong Kong and in Asia.
    • Serve as product capabilities expert and technical trade product expert.
  • Working with Key Business Partners
    • Work with and drive TSO towards a profitable and balanced growth in Corporate trade products, in line with the Product Strategy
    • Co-ordinate closely with TSO and Corporate Banker to improve trade revenue of existing clients/prospect of the assigned portfolio.
    • Work closely with Regional Product/Local Product, Credit, Compliance and Legal risk partners to ensure concerns are proactively addressed for new and existing solutions. Navigate in-country regulatory and compliance changes in order to evaluate and assess impact to the trade and supply chain solutions products
    • Work with the Product, Trade operations, Implementation and Client Services, to ensure smooth delivery of products and service and successful product launches
    • Lead the complex, specialized trade needs, including RFPs, as a senior team leader in trade finance deals
    • Monitor and Advance the Sales pipeline
  • Product Profile Building and Training
    • Provide segment solutions content for training materials and to provide sales with tools to support their product revenue growth goals
    • Plan for and conduct training sessions as appropriate
    • Plan and participate in internal and external client events to promote our Corporate Trade products
Requirements
  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualifications
  • 8 years of Trade/supply chain product sales experience working for either bank or financial institution and with experience in payments
  • Experience with a track record in delivering strategic projects which required liaison with individuals at different levels within the organization will be advantage
  • Proven strategic and analytical abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Mandarin, Cantonese for our clients from large Corporates
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strong PC skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
