VP - Outsourcing Management and Contract Management, Technology & Operations

Business Function

Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibility

• Monitors and controls on outsourcing arrangements of the Bank to ensure compliance with outsourcing governance of the Bank


• Leads team members to work closely with different stakeholders (e.g. Group Outsourcing Management, Compliance, Risk Management, Service Delivery Managers, Suppliers etc.) to enhance and maintain outsourcing governance, as well as for HKMA new SPM implementations such as OR-2


• Lead the HK contract management team to ensure third-party contracts owned by all BU/SUs are properly reviewed and approved before they are executed in accordance with relevant policies / standards


• Manages the relevant processes to ensure adequacy in control and operational efficiency


• Prepares periodic and ad hoc management reports for senior management or external stakeholders


• Provides support services and builds effective working relationships with both internal and external parties

Requirement

• Relevant university degree, experience in banking, third party or vendor risk management (preferred)


• Demonstrate good understanding of outsourcing, service provider management, outsourcing and banking regulatory as well as experience in risk and governance activities


• Good interpersonal and communication skills - spoken and written


• Good planning and other project management skills, including strong organisation skills


• Must be solutions oriented, ability to work with all levels of management and staff


• Performance-oriented individuals who is passionate about driving change through innovation
