The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading the development, implementation, and maintenance of various risk related initiatives and projects, and provide analytical / quantitative support to Basel and Risk Management related tasks.
The position also has management duties and should be prepared to provide training and direction to less senior members of the team.
Implement strategies and tasks to comply with on-going risk-related regulations or standards, especially the quantitative and analytical aspects
Maintain existing compliance requirements such as SDST, IRRBB, ICAAP Pillar 2 computation, stress tests, Recovery Plan, etc.
Assist with cross-departmental tasks such as assets & liabilities management, independent model validation, etc.
Implement, maintain, and develop HKFRS compliance initiatives, including but not limited to credit scorecards, internal ratings models, impairment valuation, ECL model validation, etc.
Assume projects/initiatives assigned by supervisor
A relevant quantitative/finance/science degree or above
Versatile in quantitative and analytical skills
Abreast of and familiar with the latest risk management compliance and regulatory requirements, and has the ability to deploy or spearhead the relevant implementation
Strong experience and knowledge in ICAAP, HKFRS9, and stress testing space
Self-motivated, proactive, independent with problem solving skills
Strong project management skills
Good leadership and people management skills
Strong computer skills particularly in Excel / SAS prefereable
