Responsibilities

Provide Business Management Support (BMS) coverage for T&M across sales, trading and fixed income business:

  • New Product Approval (NPA) and Development – Act as NPA lead to drive the new product development and approval process on end to end basis from pre-approval stage to signoff to implementation.
  • Policy and procedure - Support to enhance the customer suitability, sales process, business policies, guidelines and workflow to comply regulatory / internal requirements.
  • Projects and digitization – Represent T&M to act as business lead to drive various digital and system automation projects implementation including user request, business requirements, UAT and execution.
  • Automation and Data – Use automation and data tools to drive automation and streamline workflow.
  • Establish necessary internal control in product and project development.
  • Perform other necessary tasks as required to meet various business and control needs.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years’ relevant experience in Treasury Markets, Private Banking or related business.
  • Strong product knowledge of derivative and structured product in FICC and equities such as forward, options, swaps and structured products.
  • Good knowledge of customer suitability and sales process and the relevant HKMA/SFC regulation is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with trading / structured product system (e.g. Murex) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of data tool (e.g. Tableau) and robotics / automation tool (e.g. Python) is highly preferred.
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Good organizing, project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong risk and control sense.
  • Candidate with less experience would be considered for more junior position.
