About the Job

Ensure a seamless and integrated IKEA experience throughout all online contacts.

Develop the web channel strategies and secure that they are executed in the most effective and efficient way in order to fulfil the purpose of the function.

We defined the Web as a channel for information, communication, interaction, sales and services (e.g. IKEA website on all devices, IKEA micro-sites/social media channels, mobile marketing/ applications, and search engine and web optimization.)


About the Assignments

  • Develop a country IKEA web presence strategy and plan that covers content, communication, tools and resources on the IKEA website, all digital platforms/devices and social media meets the needs of our customers
  • Work with other functions (e.g. ecommerce) and with input from the global web team to develop the IKEA website as an integral part of the easy buying process and creating a seamless retail e-commerce customer experience.
  • Establish, monitor and maintain the web channel operations/releases
  • Implement the global content plan
  • Lead the annual social media content plan to engage consumer dialogue around life at home and IKEA
  • Monitor consumer behaviours and trends in related to digital media
  • Deliver performance and web/user intelligence as fact-based input for the development of future plan
  • Manage people within the team/agencies and exercise an active collaboration with other functions


About you
We are looking for someone who are:

  • Passionate about people, home furnishing and life at home
  • Passionate about creativity and communication in general
  • Knowledgeable in market/consumer data and trends, KPIs
  • Knowledgeable in marketing, media and business management
  • Good knowledge of the content and site management systems/image editing software used by IKEA websites
  • Basic code knowledge and understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Analytical, strategic and creative thinking
  • Ability to create and express statistical and communication insights
  • Experienced in website management
  • Experienced of customer-centric businesses
  • With retail and/or home furnishing experience
  • Proven experience of working with/in advertising/media agencies
  • Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English
  • Self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
