WM Operations Manager

  • Oversee the Wealth Management Middle Office team to deliver a comprehensive suite of client lifecycle services for our wealth management clients.
  • Services currently include Client Onboarding and Maintenance; with service catalog expansion planned to include Payments, Securities and Special Conditions etc.
  • Act as the subject matter expert and conduit between wider Operations and Business for key topics including but not limited to Client documentation requirements, Payments, Securities and Special Conditions.
  • Partner with key stakeholders front to back in order to drive and define best practices, continuous improvement of processes, service delivery experience and teams' productivity.
  • Manage and coach individuals within the Hong Kong Middle Office team.

You’ll be working in the Wealth Management Middle Office team within WM Operations in Hong Kong. This team currently offers services in Client Onboarding and Maintenance; with service catalog expansion planned to include Payments, Securities, Special Conditions and other services for UBS Wealth Management Business in Hong Kong.

You have:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a Wealth Management aligned roles specializing in Client Documentation and Operations. Working knowledge of AML & KYC requirements in Hong Kong regulatory landscape favored.
  • Client focused and motivated to work in partnership with front to back stakeholders to define practical solutions that meets the internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in team(s) management and strong leadership skills evidenced with ability to effectively drive organization design, service delivery quality and performance metrics with key stakeholders.
  • Tenacity to drive team(s) to achieve & exceed the performance metrics and service level agreements. Actively pursue change agenda (firm-wide & team-based) to collectively deliver high level of client satisfaction front to back.
  • Strong risk and control mindset with a structured and logical approach to analysis and problem-solving.
