Chris will succeed Ian Roberts, who has decided to return to London for a new role within the Company, and report to M. Gandhi, Group Managing Director, ASEAN business.
Based out of Singapore, Chris will be leading Informa Markets business in ASEAN. With a strong portfolio of 70 trade events in Southeast Asia, Informa Markets in ASEAN creates opportunities for our customers and partners in a wide range of industry verticals including Furniture & Interiors, Industrial Machinery, Construction, Renewable Energy, Electric, Power, Security, Food, Hospitality, Packaging, Oil & Gas, Livestock, Beauty, Water & Wastewater Subcontracting, Environmental Technology, Technology, Media and Telecom.
Before joining Informa Markets, Chris worked for dmg events as Senior Vice President, Construction Division and was based in Dubai. Prior to this, Chris spent many years with legacy UBM and served different leadership positions. He was Group Director of Property Portfolio in UK and the Managing Director of the Built Environment media business. He was also the Group Director of Pharma Portfolio and led the growth and the development of the global pharmaceutical portfolio.
