The course consists of two parts. The first part is about the right mind set and right management skills that modern managers should possess for managing the new generation workforce. The second part is about using the right system and tools to manage the results.
Part 1: Mindsets and Skills
(1) Communication (對嘴溝通力) - talk as equal peers, never talk down
(2) Motivation (勁爆推動力) - be encouraging, nurture and do not beat people up
(3) Leadership (Orz領導力) - ‘easier to command, better to inspire’ and provide direction
(4) Affinity (真-親和力) - be inclusive, make it enjoyable, equal respect and, ‘be a partner, not a boss’ , establish friendship
(5) Execution (神級執行力) - don’t be ordering, don’t stereotype, allow freedom but provide clear goals and flexible process
Part 2: System and Tools: PDCA Management System v2.0
Using the PDCA management system ver.2.0, tools and techniques to apply the skills that participants learned from part 1 in order to create behaviourial change and achieve tangible results such as higher productivity, improved services and cost savings. The Management System to be presented will be focusing on the following key elements and tools : Plan > Do > Check > Act
Paul has over 20 years of managerial experience in HR, learning and development. His areas of expertise include customer service system, brand culture building, operation efficiency system and managerial development scheme. He has been serving as the Chairman of Hong Kong Retail Management Association Service & Courtesy Award from 2001, 2002, 2008 to 2016. Paul is also currently serving the working committee of Accreditation of Assessment Agency (RPL- Retail).

The “HEA! Management Style” is designed for the characteristics of modern managers to manage the new generation workforce. It emphasizes on “Working smart not working hard!”, “Do less for more” and the “80/20” philosophy (不做多餘嘢！). All it does is to help new managers to stay focus on the key issues and deliver the results in this challenging time
We believe that the best way to learn is by doing therefore this course is designed as an experiential training workshop. It is more than just being fun, entertaining and easily applicable to on the job responsibility. Participants will learn the theory by actual experience it through games and exercises. The whole process will make sure participants are fully involved, engaged and get the best out of the workshop. The course will take approximately 6 hours. Specific fun games and business relevant exercises will be designed to process all the learning topics. There will be debriefing after each exercise to elaborate and reinforce the application of theories into real business environment. The training approach of this course is illustrated.
