KLN came alive as eight cross-department teams, brought together over 100 colleagues, united for a cross-functional team building event – MEGA CHALLENGE 2025. Through spirited physical challenges & clever problem-solving games, colleagues cheered each other on turning individual strengths into shared victories.
Colleagues demonstrated remarkable passion and dedication throughout the activity. Their energy wasn’t just about winning; it was about lifting each other up, laughing together, and building trust that transcends departments.
The “Be a Volunteer Hairdresser – Serve the Elderly” event was successfully held in partnership with the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong (YMCA) and YM Hair, a social enterprise under YMCA.
This initiative invites colleagues to be trained as a volunteer hairdresser and offer free haircut services to the elderly. It not only allows colleagues to establish meaningful connections with the elderly and community but also strives to enhance their lives and showcase KLN's dedication to “Community Care”.
The event was filled with laughter, warmth, and touching moments. Many elderly expressed how happy and cared they felt, while KLN volunteer hairdressers shared how meaningful and rewarding the experience was. The simple act of a haircut became a heartfelt exchange of kindness, connection, and joy.
With the incredible support of 40 hairdressers and 20 volunteers from KLN, the event served 120 elderly through free haircut services, health booths, interactive games, and thoughtful giveaways.
