Our employees

Since the establishment in 1948, HKHS renders full support to Hong Kong’s sustainable development through nurturing talents for the housing and related industry. On this note, HKHS sought to empower the younger generation by offering them lots of opportunities in terms of internship, work experience scholarship and bursaries as well as community service. All are aimed to equip them with a better understanding of the housing and social development of Hong Kong, and to establish a wider social network, in order to prepare them better for contributing to society. The HS Academy Alumni Club was established in 2019 to provide a platform through which past and future recipients congregate for exchange and learning, as well as serving the community.

Mr Tam, being both a retired HKHS staff and also a resident, shared his working experience in Moon Lok Dai Ha. Apart from the security jobs, Mr Tam also took charge of maintenance issues and handled unexpected drainage services. He contributed himself with heart and soul, just like a father in a family. After retirement, he continues to serve the residents in Moon Lok Dai Ha as a volunteer and brings a lot of joy to the community.

Sharing by staff who have served for 30 years.
