The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) is a multi-disciplinary organisation established by statute in 1967, to promote productivity excellence through relentless drive of integrated advanced technologies and innovative service offerings to support Hong Kong enterprises. Being a key enabler and catalyst of innovation, applied technology and value creation, HKPC facilitates Hong Kong’s reindustrialisation empowered by Industry 4.0 and Enterprise 4.0, and develops smart and green living applications, fostering the development of Hong Kong as both an international innovation and technology (I&T) and a smart city.
HKPC offers SMEs and startups immediate and timely assistance in coping with the ever-changing business environment, accompanying them on their innovation and transformation journey. Moreover, a variety of FutureSkills trainings are offered for enterprises to upskill and nurture talents with digital capabilities and STEM competencies to enhance their competitive edge.
In addition, HKPC partners and collaborates with local industries and enterprises and world-class R&D institutes to develop applied technology solutions for value creation. It also benefits a variety of sectors through product innovation and technology transfer, with commercialisation of multiple market-driven patents and technologies, bringing enormous opportunities abound for licensing and technology transfer, both locally and internationally.

Our research and development (R&D) achievements have once again been recognised at the prestigious “Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions”, winning 15 awards in total, the most for HKPC since its inventions made their debut at the event in 2015, including three Gold Medals with Congratulations of Jury, four Gold Medals, seven Silver Medals and one Bronze Medal. HKPC pledges to shoulder its mission to help Hong Kong enterprises to enhance productivity through advanced technology and R&D with an aim to make smart smarter and to create a new economy together.
HKPC provides the comprehensive InnoTalent Programme for tertiary students with the first-hand experience of what it's like to work for a multi-disciplinary R&D organisation. Student interns will have unique exposure to HKPC’s diverse business, training workshops and innovation pitch to senior executives to embark on the successful path in R&D industry.
HKPC Academy offers a range of FutureSkills training programmes to equip people with the essential skills to be successful in the future workplace. The FutureSkills Framework covers a wide range topics, which forms a learning path from technology integration to human interaction for students and adults to become future ready.
