It’s more than “home sweet home”

“Once I open the room’s door, I would ask myself, what I can do for the tenant.”  With no doubts, our Assistant Manager, Housekeeping - Fong Chu, would always go extra miles which make our customers’ stay an impressive and memorable one. This is Fong‘s 19th year to work with Shama, her long services won’t affect her passion to serve our tenants. Instead, lots of team members from housekeeping and other departments were influenced by her professionalism.

Tenant’s only connection in HK

Through the small talk with tenants, Fong had found that the tenant had to go through a surgery. All her families were not in Hong Kong and she felt anxious to handle this critical situation alone.

When the tenant was leaving the apartment to hospital, Fong called the taxi in advance and handled her baggage. She sterilized everything in the room before the tenant’s return, just to make sure that she would feel more comfortable. After the tenant back to apartment and settled down, she was thinking to have her dinner at fast food shop as she felt exhausted to cook anything after back from the hospital. “It would be heartless if we just leave her without gave her any support”. Fong showed her caring and pro-actively cooked the congee for the tenant. She had also noticed that the tenant would like to keep the flowers which given by tenant’s friend, Fong pruned the branch and air dried it. The tenant felt so touched the efforts which Fong had made. She left the apartment with joy and the dried flowers which Fong prepared.
