香港會成立於 1846 年,由一間英國紳士會所發展成為今天的國際性紳士淑女聚會場所。在香港上海大酒店有限公司的管理下,香港會致力於吸引傑出人才。

香港會是亞洲最負盛名的私人會所之一。常駐會員有 1,500 位,他們均來自商業和專業界別的精英。香港會可讓會員在優雅舒適的環境中享受最優質的美食和服務,同時也是充滿社區情懷及對香港抱有使命感的地方。

現時的香港會大廈於 1984 年啟用。會所設有三間餐廳、三間酒吧、一間咖啡廳以及私人包廂和宴會設施。此外,還有一個多元化的圖書館、橋牌室、兩個壁球場、桌球室、保齡球場和健身中心。

Established in 1846, The Hong Kong Club (the “Club”) has evolved from a British gentlemen’s club into the international gathering place for convivial ladies and gentlemen it is today. Under the management of The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels Limited, the Club is dedicated to attracting exceptional talent.

The Club is considered one of the most prestigious private members’ clubs in Asia.  The Club membership, 1,500 resident members in size, is drawn from the business community and social networks. Members enjoy the finest standards of cuisine and service in elegant and comfortable surroundings, as well as a place filled with community-minded friendship and a commitment to Hong Kong.

The present clubhouse was opened in 1984.  Following the completion of an extensive renovation in 2013, the Club today provides three restaurants, three bars, a café and an extensive range of private dining rooms, banqueting and sports facilities. In addition, there is an extensive library, a card room, two squash courts, a billiards room, a bowling alley and a fitness centre.

Kim Choi – Restaurants Manager 餐廳經理

「我事業的起點由加入香港會成為餐飲部實習生開始。我已經在這裡工作接近 20 年。我是一個喜歡冒險和接受挑戰的人。香港會不斷支持我,並提供機會讓我實現事業上的抱負。我不僅在這裡遇到非常樂意分享他們的專業知識、經驗和心態的導師,而且我也有機會在各類型的餐廳工作,讓自己具備更多關於餐飲的知識和服務標準。當我想攻讀學士學位以加強管理技能時,會所以批核全額學費贊助作為對我的強大支持。當我想在工作中尋求改變時,會所就讓我參與幾間餐廳開業和裝修計劃,成為這些項目團隊的一份子。因為會所每每聆聽我的意見並讓我做決定,令我感到備受重視。我覺得我在這裡不僅是一名員工,我亦貢獻自己去建立香港會為我的夢想家園。」

“I started my career in the Club as an F&B trainee and have been working here for nearly 20 years. I am an adventurous person and I love challenges. The Club never stops providing me support and opportunities to fulfil my career aspirations. Not only have I met some great mentors here who were more than willing to share their expertise, experiences and mindset, but I also have been given the chance to work in various types of restaurants to equip myself with more knowledge of food and beverage and service standards. When I wanted to pursue my bachelor’s degree to strengthen my management skills, the Club showed tremendous support by approving full sponsorship of my course fee. When I was looking for changes at work, the Club included me in several restaurant pre-opening teams and renovation projects. I feel valued as the Club always listens to my opinion and lets me make decisions. I feel I am not just an employee here, I contribute to building my dream work home.”

「自從疫情以來,我回復腳踏實地 -- 由從事空中服務員轉為香港會的前堂部接待員。我很高興繼續在服務行業工作,並延續發揮之前所學的經驗。有別於在有限時間和環境中與客人交流,在這裡我可以與會員們建立融洽及長遠關係。我喜歡每天了解他們多一些並將彼此視為朋友。我的團隊賦予我很大的靈活性,令我能為會員提供個人化服務。自入職以來,公司給予我的支持從未停止。最近我剛調職到會員部擔任會員主任,這崗位能讓我更進一步發揮我在顧客服務上的專業知識和技能。對於一個熱愛顧客服務的從業員來說,這就是我工作的最大滿足感,因為我可以運用自己的創意讓會​​員有賓至如歸的感覺!這不單單只是工作,這亦是我與朋友共處的時間。」

“Ever since the pandemic began, I have had my feet on the ground -- I changed my job from flight attendant to Front Hall Receptionist at The Hong Kong Club. Rather than connecting with guests in a limited time and environment on airplanes, here I can create rapport and build up long-term relationships with Members. I love how I can get to know them day-by-day and how we treat each other as friends. I’m empowered with a lot of flexibility to provide personalised service. The support from the Club never ceases – I’ve since been made a Membership Officer which gives full scope for my professional customer service knowledge and skills. For a customer service enthusiast, this give me tremendous work satisfaction because I can use my creativity to make the Members feel at home! This is not just about work, this is my time to spend with my friends.”

“I have been with the Club for almost 25 years and this is just another home to me. The Club provides me a stable work environment with good benefits. It not only treasures its employees but also their families with medical coverage extended to them. Such care has been especially demonstrated during the pandemic. During tough times, we have not had any lay-offs, salary reduction or elimination of paid leave. We were even assigned to work in two different teams in which all the team members took turns to work at home, with full pay and the same bonus award. This guaranteed the safety and income stability of our employees. I was particularly grateful for how the Club sorted out many ways to sustain my income when the Barber Shop needed to be shut down under the worst of the pandemic. With the Club always having my back, I serve my Members with pride.”
